2026 Content Strategy of 7-Figure Brands

Every year I talk to thousands of business owners who create content with the goal of increasing their revenue. 95% of them completely fail. 5% are scaling fast and making it look easy. There are three things the top 5% of content creators are doing, I’d like to outline those here.

  1. Empathy: Defined as understanding exactly what their audience is thinking and feeling. I ask every content creator/business owner the same question “What does your audience truly want? like if the cameras were off and no one was watching, what would they say?” and the people who can answer that question with exact clarity are the ones who are experiencing revenue growth from the content they create. This is because most content is video, and most content is on social media. So if you cannot immediately get the attention of your audience, the rest of what you are saying does not matter. If you can directly talk to what your audience is thinking and feeling, it will stop their scroll and they will pay attention to you. The root of this skill is empathy. The ability to understand exactly what your audience is thinking and feeling.

  2. Passion: Again, because content is visual. If you just say things to try and get customers, people can tell. If you actually believe in what you are saying, people can tell. You can look into the eyes of the content creator and immediately see if they are full of it. When I talk to people who are crushing it with content, they really care about what they are saying. They are passionate about getting their message out because they know it helps people.

  3. Consistency: If they post every day, they post every day without fail. If they post twice a day, they post twice a day without fail. Fluctuations happen. Sometimes a creator with 3 million followers gets 120 views on a post. But they keep going. They keep refining. They keep improving. It’s an intrinsic race against themselves to improve. The numbers go up and down. The opportunities get bigger or smaller. But they keep improving.
